A wonderful stretch of coastline west of Accra in Ghana presented an opportunity to build a new Beach Lodge.

The entrance is through a courtyard with a secluded swimming pool into the main Lounge.

Openings to both elevations create through ventilation, allowing ocean breezes to enter the house in this tropical climate.

Terraces at ground and first floor are designed as external living spaces to enjoy views over the Gulf of Guinea.
